Interabang? Interrobang!

I have just discovered a not-quite-accepted punctuation mark I wish I had always known about: the interrobang. It's a combination of an exclamation point and a question mark. As someone who has always resisted using more than one punctuation mark at the end of a sentence, this is a godsend.

So hey, publishers and software developers: let's get working on spreading the interrobang! I would like to be able to use it while posting a blog entry instead of pointing people to the Wikipedia page, which has some lovely pictures of it in different fonts.

What if you're REALLY emotional and one interrobang isn't enough? Can you still do an interrobang and then an exclamation point? Or would you just use two interrobangs? I could totally see getting carried away with the interrobang thing, can't you?! You could do interrobang, question mark, interrobang, exclamation point, and it might mean something completely different from interrobang, exclamation point, exclamation point! Right?!?!!!!!

I could not believe this was real at first. It's great! I think we need to start a campaign to makes this an acceptable and widely used form of punctuation. Librarians unite!

I've been using the interrobang for years. This may be the first and only time I have ever been ahead of a curve! Does that make me a total geek? If so, should I care?!

Sadly, I haven't figured out a way to make an interrobang on my Mac. Does anyone know a font master?
