Hi, all!!

Hi, I'm Carly, (Xiaoou), honored to be here, as a new author of the blog.

I'm from China, came to US in mid August, 2009 to pursue my MLIS in Syracuse University, majored in Computer Science(That is the reason why people keep asking me why I'm not in IM program).

Well, I love books, love sharing, willing to serve people to help them to find what they want, or, as Prof. Lankes mentioned in the mission of librarianship, “The mission of librarians is to improve society through facilitating knowledge creation in their communities." Sounds exciting, huh?

This is ME!

Tomorrow is a traditional festival of China, Mid-Autumn festival, or you can call it "Moon-cake Festival". Enjoy the moon cake, ladies! (I really have no idea how to cook it even I consider myself as a cooking GENIUS:-p)

You can buy them in a small supermarket named PanAsia on ErieBlvd, close to PriceChopper and Sims.

Quite expensive,($14 for a box of moon cakes, maybe 4-6 cakes inside) .so neither of us have made a try~

I love mooncakes and am a huge fan of the double-yolk kind. They're expensive but worth every penny!
